This Privacy Policy is applicable to any User who purchases, intends to purchase, or inquire about any product(s) or service(s) made available by Burraa through any of Burraa’s customer interface channels including its website, mobile site, mobile app & offline channels including call centres and offices (collectively referred herein as "Sales Channels"). 

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, wherever the context so requires "you" or "your" shall mean User and the term "we", "us", "our" shall mean Burraa. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, Website means the website(s), mobile site(s) and mobile app(s). By using or accessing the Website or other Sales Channels, the User hereby agrees with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the contents herein. If you disagree with this Privacy Policy please do not use or access our Website or other Sales Channels. 

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of your User Agreement with Burraa and all capitalised terms used, but not otherwise defined herein, shall have the respective meanings as ascribed to them in the User Agreement.

When you register with Burraa, we collect Personal information such as your name, gender, contact information such as email id and mobile number. The information may also include information such as your banking details (including credit/debit card) and any other information relating to your income and/or lifestyle; billing information payment history etc. (as shared by you). While making a booking, we may use Personal Information including payment details which include cardholder name, credit/debit card number (in encrypted form) with expiration date, banking details, wallet details etc. as shared and allowed to be stored by you. We may also use the information of travellers list as available in or linked with your account. This information is presented to the User at the time of making a booking to enable you to complete your bookings expeditiously. Identity of the survey participants is anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey. 
6.3. Burraa provides an option to its users to post their experiences by way of review, ratings and general poll questions. Burraa may also hire a third party to contact you and gather feedback about your recent booking with Burraa. Though participation in the feedback process is purely optional, you may still receive emails, notifications (SMS, Whatsapp or any other messaging service) for you to share your feedback. 

7) Data Retention Policy:

Personal information provided during the registration process is retained for as long as your Burraa account is active. If you choose to deactivate your account, we will retain necessary information for a reasonable period or as required by law to fulfil legal obligations and prevent fraudulent activities. 
7.2. Information related to bookings and transactions is retained for a specific period post-completion. This duration allows for order processing, dispute resolution, and compliance with legal obligations.
7.3. Messages and communication data between Users and activity service providers may be retained for a limited period to ensure effective customer support, address inquiries, and maintain a record of interactions. 
7.4. Non-personal information collected for analytics and usage tracking purposes is retained for a period necessary to derive insights into user behaviour, improve platform functionality, and meet our business objectives. 7.5. We may retain certain information for an extended period if required by law, regulatory obligations, or in response to legal processes. 
7.6. If your Burraa account remains inactive for a period greater than two years, we may initiate data anonymization or deletion procedures. This helps us ensure that our data storage aligns with the needs of our active user community. 
7.7. Information related to your marketing preferences is retained for as long as you choose to receive marketing communications. You have the option to manage your preferences or opt-out at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link or follow the instructions in the e-mail message. 

8) Permissions to Use Burraa Mobile App (Android and iOS): 

8.1. Location: 

Purpose: To provide accurate information about nearby activities and tailor recommendations based on your location. 
Usage: Enables you to discover and book activities in your vicinity. 

8.2. Storage: 

Purpose: To save and retrieve necessary data, such as booking confirmations and app-related images. 
Usage: Allows for the efficient storage and retrieval of relevant information on your device. 
8.3. Camera: 

Purpose: To enable users to upload profile pictures, activity-related images, or capture images for special requests. 
Usage: Allows users to personalise their profiles and share images relevant to their activities. 
8.4. Microphone: 

Purpose: Required for features that involve voice input or recording. Usage: Enables users to interact with the app using voice commands or record personalised messages or contact the activity service providers. 8.5. Contacts: 
Purpose: To facilitate easy sharing of activity details or invites with friends from your contact list. 
Usage: Allows for a seamless and user-friendly sharing experience. 8.6. Notification: 
Purpose: To send timely updates, reminders, and notifications related to your activities. 
Usage: Keeps you informed about booking confirmations, updates, and other relevant information. 
8.7. Network Connection: 

Purpose: Essential for accessing and updating real-time information from the Burraa server.
Usage: Ensures a continuous and reliable connection to the Burraa platform. 8.8. Device ID and Call Information: 
Purpose: To uniquely identify your device for security and analytics purposes. Usage: Helps in ensuring the security of your account and allows us to analyse device-specific usage patterns for platform optimization. We need to get information about your device, like OS (operating system) name, OS version, mobile network, hardware model, unique device identifier, preferred language, etc. Based on these inputs, we intend to optimise your travel booking experience. 
8.9. SMS: 

Purpose: To facilitate autofill or pre-populate ‘OTP’ while making a transaction or validating your mobile number. 
Usage: This provides you a seamless purchase experience while making a booking and you don’t need to move out of the app to read the SMS and then enter it in the app.
